Apache Cordova proved that you can build real mobile apps with the open web — HTML, CSS and JavaScript — and run them natively on iOS and Android. It's free, it's open, and it has powered countless apps over the years.
But great open projects need a welcoming front door. As commercial alternatives grew their marketing and tooling, many developers drifted away — not because Cordova stopped working, but because the path felt harder to find. We think that's fixable.
DedrisFramework curates the experience — documentation, a UI component library, starter templates and a directory of maintained plugins — so building with Cordova feels modern, clear and genuinely enjoyable. No paywalls. No lock-in. Just the open web, on mobile.
